We started with 6 week old washed-outness of blue and red (a non-haircrazy dye job so no pics) and about 3 cm of root regrowth. The electric banana from Adam's Adventures 15 had started to show through the faded blue which at first was a cool bluey-green shade but had turned into muddy blue.
Before dyeing the hair there were leftovers of blue and red. There was no point in bleaching all the hair as green will easily cover the blueish green at the top and purple will cover the red around the bottom. The roots were bleached out. Quite a lot of the blue was still there but probably would have bleached out quite well if we'd tried.

I applied the dye in a similar way to Adam's Adventures 15 by smudging the colours together to create a nice blend from colour to colour. My intention was to dye it green and purple but the blue was used to act like a buffer between the two colours preventing them from bleeding into a brownish mess.
Spring Green was first applied to the roots, then a smaller amount of Lagoon Blue was brushed onto the midlengths with a tint brush and finally purple was added to the tips.
Luckily the green didn't stain his face! We left this dye on for about 45 minutes.

His hair is all finished in this photo. I'll be trimming his hair soon and will be adding more purple to the ends to compensate. The green was exactly as show in the directions swatch card and we had already done plum before.
Overall a pretty good result.
