When asked "Tutti-Fruity or Mint-Choc-Chip?", Adam replied "Tutti-Fruity". Little did he realise he was choosing his next hair colours.
Adam's last Adventure (which was not shown due to the colours not showing up in photographs) had washed out to a few chunks of blue and green and he had about an inch/2 months worth of root regrowth. His hair was also pretty overgrown a bit frazzled since Adam rarely brushes or conditions his hair. Time for the chop!
So, the standard before picture. You can see what I mean about it being overgrown. It looked ok when it was first cut but has since grown out a different rates. The back is quite a bit longer than the rest of his hair and actually flaps in the wind.
The dark blue colour visible at the front is Special Effects Blue Velvet which as always has taken months to even begin fading. The teal green colour is Manic Panic Enchanted Forest.

Hair cut complete. Overall I took 2-4 inches off where needed. It is now mostly one length all over but a little bit shorter at the back. Luckily a lot of the Blue Velvet was cut out. It tends to go pink when bleached out from a dark shade.
After the haircut I bleached his roots and applied the bleach to the mid-lengths and ends to remove excess colour. There are plenty of photos of Adam with plain bleached hair so I didn't show it but the results was almost all over even blond with a hint of pink at the ends of a few chunks.

After washing out the bleach and towel drying, I proceeded to add the colour. I added Directions Flamingo Pink first as it was the strongest colour that would be used in this adventure so it was important to position correctly. For this style I didn't want anything too formal so the pink was applied to chunks (about 3cm diameter) randomly throughout his hair and I also applied to to the root area of some other chunks and to the tips of others.
Next I applied Manic Panic Electric Banana to the remaining hair. Since the pink is a much stronger colour I had to be careful to not allow it to mix too much although the plan was to allow some mixing to achieve a neon orange colour.
Since we were in a hurry I used a hair dryer on medium heat to speed up the dyeing process.
After some careful rising the hair is complete.
Now Adam's hair is shorter we can spike it quickly and easily. Here I've just used normal hair gel on the ends of his hair and blasted it with hair spray (Insette). Some of the spikes didn't want to behave so I had to hold them while the hair spray dried. It took about 5 minutes to spike.
