#21 Contrasting Colours (Red & Green)

Thu 19 October 2006

Not long since the last Adventure but Adam's hair had already faded out to a very girly pink and purple combo. Time for something manly!
Products used:
Directions Fire
Crazy Color Peacock Blue

This is what happens when you use super hold gel with lots of alcohol - your colour fades out fast, in just 3 weeks. We can see the pinkish red from last time has stuck around a bit better than the purple. That's to be expected since reds usually last longer than blues and violets. At the tips of Adam's hair some bluish tint remains. Thankfully no bleaching had to be done.

His hair is pastel pink and purple

Whoops, I forgot to take a during photo but luckily the process was so simple I don't need a photo to explain.
First I took an 8cm (approx.) thick mohawk of hair that stretched from his forehead to neck. I applied Fire to this. Then on either side of the red I took similarly sized sections parallel with the red and applied Crazy Color Peacock Blue to both sides. The rest was coloured Fire again. Simple! This image gives you an idea how the hair was sectioned and coloured.

This image shows which portion of Adam's hair was coloured red

There's the finished hairdo. It looks best when it's been messed up a bit. I can only hope that Adam doesn't revert to his usual middle parting but the under colour will still show through even if it has been styled to the centre.

Red gives an asymmetric flash of colour
