Adam's last adventure had almost completely washed out so his hair was almost a clean slate. Time for a change.

So here you can see how uncoloured his hair was. In this light it almost looks white but in real life it was a pale turquoise-blue. His hair was in definite need of a trim so I took a few inches off his hair and tidied up the style so that it didn't sit in such a block.

After a trim I bleached his roots to match the rest of his hair. I haven't included a photo but you can see the process in some of the earlier adventures.
Now for the fun part! I wanted an asymmetric look for the red colour so I took a round section of hair just left of his crown. I clipped this out of the way to allow me to colour the rest of the hair.
The Capri Blue was applied to pretty damp hair. Usually with a nice bright blue like this I would recommend applying to dry hair to get the best results but on this occasion I wanted a slightly softer blue. I then applied the rose red to the remaining hair and kept it well away from the blue to avoid bleeding.

Et voila! The colours came out exactly as expected and there was no bleeding. The photos above look like there is some purple in there but it's actually the blue showing through the red giving the appearance of purple. Allowing the red to spread across the blue gives this style more movement.
It's worth noting that it's nowhere near as pink looking in real life. It's what I would describe as a cool red colour. It's much deeper cherry red shade in real life but the camera wouldn't pick that up.
