Fading Colour

A:This is usually a problem with semi-permanent dyes, especially colours like blue and red. The trouble with red is that it will always wash out to either orange or pink so if you don't want either of these colours you'll have to keep dyeing your hair regularly. Blue is probably the shortest lasting hair colour and requires a lot of upkeep (dyeing weekly or fortnightly with many dyes).Avoid turquoise blues if you don't want it to end up green. Blues that are slighly purple tend to last longer and fade nicely. Bear in mind that not all dyes work for everyone. If a brand doesn't work for you try another.
