Pink Hair Help

Q:I want to get darkish pink highlights put into my naturally brown curly hair, my hairdresser said theres no point it will only last a few days (this is including bleaching) and then go a horrible colour. -He didn't want me to get pink put in!- Is this true, and if so are there other ways of going about it?

A:It's all about what brand and colour you go for. If your hair dresser won't put the colour in for you just get him to bleach in some light blond highlights and colour at home. The part about it only lasting a few days is untrue if you find a brand that suits you. For example, Special Effects' Atomic Pink can last several months although it might be a bit brighter than what you're looking for. Perhaps something like Special Effects Virgin Rose would be more suitable.
