A:You'll probably want to start by having the black colour stripped from your hair. This is best done by a professional. There are a number of products on the market for this depending on the type of black dye you used. When the black dye is out they'll probably bleach it to remove any remaining colour. It's quite likely that you won't be able to get your hair as light as if you bleached "virgin" hair so I recommend using a really strong pink afterwards. Special Effects Atomic Pink can cover even golden shades of blond and should look good even if you can't get your hair to pale blond. This is a pretty damaging process so I strongly recommend you have it done by a competent professional who will check with strand tests before proceeding. Of course you could go for the cheaper option and grow the black out and start over or even start bleaching and dyeing your roots as the black grows out.
