i used them 30 and 40 this really do the same i used them 2 times each. each time really did not to anything at all my hair was brown to a light brown... ) :

I've only used the 30 volume kit and hope to keep it that way. I was not impressed. I started off with a fairly brown-red color and after processing my hair once, I was left with orange roots and yellow hair. A second bleaching with the same product was not fabulous, but the job was finally done. And I'm done with manic panic bleach kits. I do not recommend this product.

I guess this bleach only works on dark blonde hair. it worked very well on my dirty blonde hair and worked fairly well bleaching out my sadly faded wildflower hair. only slightly yellow, used special effects toner with it and got almost white blonde hair. I suppose according to the other reviews don't use it with hair any darker than dark blonde.... i give it a four because it worked fine on my hair but not so well with others apparently.

I used this on medium blonde hair too and did get it to a great light blonde, but sustained considerable damage to my hair. Even though it was my first time using a kit and I probably made a mistake along the way, I agree with all the other users; this is not a good product. Definitely go with something gentler or more effective.

I've used the 30 volume kit about 4 times now and I've gotten it to an almost white. I've also used it on two of my friends and gave them natural looking highlights. It really depends on how well you mix everything together. It should be really gunky when you put it on your hair and then wrap it in foil. The very first time I ever used it on my hair I had my friend do it for me and when she mixed it, it was very watery and didnt really do anything. I would recommend this product but you just have to know what you're doing.
