Blue Mayhem Review

An intense deep blue shade. This colour has fewer purple tones than some of the other special effects shades.

badxstar	Jun 19, 2007 6:07 a.m. I could not get this colour to work for me at all. I tried twice and both times got a solid true blue at the beginning, but an ugly purple-grey after one or two washes. I knew going into it that blue was a colour that required a lot of upkeep, but it faded much, much faster than any other blue and, in my opinion, was totally not worth it. I did have more success with it when it was mixed with other colours (like purple). Overall though, I wasn't impressed. Rated: 1/5
Bubina	Jun 29, 2007 1:17 a.m. The colour of this dye is beautiful, I really really liked it. I found that it lasted 4 washes in my hair, which was good enough for me, because by that time it was time to bleach my roots anyways. I don't have a head of blue hair anymore, but when I do go back to blue, I'll use Blue Mayhem again. Rated: 4/5
midnighteskye	Dec 15, 2007 7:43 p.m. I've used this several times and I like it. It does fade relatively quicker then I would have liked but that's ok because I change it alot. IT does really fade to a yucky grayish color which is the only downpoint I see. Rated: 3/5
qual	Mar 22, 2008 4:21 p.m. The first few days it's a really great super-man type blue, but it quickly faded to a smokey violet color...very pretty, but not blue. :( And as it continues to fade it turns a weird gray. It's a beautiful color at first, but it doesn't last. Rated: 3/5
