The color is extremely bright and very beautiful. I applied it over bleached hair that was a pale blonde. After a few washes, however, it began to fade to an orange. If I had washed it every day for as long as I had it, after a week to two weeks I would have ended up with a very pale orange with some streaks of pale blonde. While the color was its brightest I got many compliments from random strangers, a lot of looks, and even a few people hitting on me =/ I only washed my hair once a week so that it wouldn't wash out too quickly (yeah my hair got pretty greasy since I rarely washed it). No one gave me any bad comments. Overall, it was very fun to have nuclear red hair. The only reason why I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because of how quickly it washed out. But if you're willing to re-dye it once a week or once every two weeks then you shouldn't have a problem with it.

An excellent dye for natural hair. A really hot hot ornage red. this faded to an equally nice ornage on my hair and didnt stain as badly as a lot of SFX dyes.

This red has amazed me. I put it over barely faded Electric Blue, hoping to god it would come out purple and it didn't! It's a little darker on my hair because of the previous color, but my roots are the bright red it should be. I am giving it a 4 only because I've only had it in for a week, so I don't know how it will fade. So far it hasn't faded at all.

A bright and beautiful red. I'd say it lasted a good 2-3 months and faded to an orange that kind of lingered in my hair for another couple of months.
