Yeah; my local store doesn't sell MP so when I want to get any dye I always need to go to the one at the mall; although the floorsize is literally smaller, it carries more. I'll ignore the laws of physics for this though...
If you're stuck without a car/ride, perhaps ordering online would be a better choice? I've not done a lot of it myself, but Sally's only carries common MP colors (they even stopped carrying electric banana! >:[ ), so if you want a different brand or a less standard color, you might be better off doing that anyway.

Posted 2 years, 1 month ago
yeah so i want to bleach and dye my hair but when I went to a nearby beauty supply store, they said i needed a hair license. does everyone on haircrazy have a hair license or is there another way to get developer and bleach powder and stuff?

Where do you live?
I've never been asked for a hair license. Is it a strictly professional shop? Try to find another or go to a local pharmacy and see if you can find some bleach and developer.

Oh. Maybe that's why. In the states most beauty supply stores don't need a license unless it's some powerful chemical. Certain bleaches and color removers.

That's weird, I'm in Canada too and I've never heard of that.
There's even a place called the Beauty Supply Outlet that's open to the public, however they only had one brand of bleach that I'd never heard of.
So I usually go to Shoppers too, but I find the bigger stores with the huge cosmetics department to have better selection.

Most palces in US have seen are for professional liscence's only. Very fortunate to have a beauty supply store near by called Sally's Beauty Supply which is open to the non-professional like me/general public.
If nothing like this open to you, suggest as other colleagues here go to a large store with general and beauty items.
Good luck.

The Shoppers Drug Marts here don't have a very good Manic Panic selection anymore either.
All they have are the reds, pinks, purples, and blues.
But only the darker shades are available.
Years ago you used to be able to buy Atomic Turquoise and Electric Lizard but it was phased out.
Is that what the Sally's near you is carrying as well?
