At about January I dyed my hair from bright pinky-red to black and then a few months later I got a haircut, keeping it below shoulder and adding a fringe. A couple of months after that I finished my first set of dreads which I had started making and had made them into falls (http://haircrazy.info/forum/topic/1/1384/) and installed them, without using the pink ones. I can say I'm really pleased and they're not as much trouble as I thought they would be.

Even washing them is not that bad, only good thing about having 35 degrees celsius is that in 1 hour they're completely dry. :p

I haven't shown off my hair in a while, I'll probably have to make my timeline to show them.

In January, hair freshly dyed black.
Front of dreads, new haircut, but you can't see much of it.
Dreads from the back.

It's lovely. I really like the combination of colours you've used too. I used to have my hair that colour and it's making me really want it back!

The fringe looks good too and works well with the dreads.

Those are some of the best hand-made dreads I've ever seen...and I love your choice of colours too!

Thank you all! ^_^

Unfortunately, apart from the fringe you can't really see the cut here (not that it's anything spectacular, mind you :p just plain old layers). But I'm happy with how the fringe worked out with the dreads. And with how even though my hair is pretty long still, it doesn't look awful braided on the dreads. :p

Jude, if you feel like doing it, I think you should definitely go back to those colours! Turquoise/blue + purple are always my favourite combo. And it's summer, great time for colour!

Hopeless, thank you! They're probably a little fuzzier than what they look there in real life. I'm pretty pleased with them as a first try, I think I'm going to make myself some more in the future!
