Hi all,
I've been a lurker for quite some time. I'm currently bleaching out my SFX Electric Blue. I would like to dye most of my hair brown with purple streaks. I've got all the dyes, but wanted your opinion-

After bleaching- should I put the purple streaks in first, wrap them up and let them sit for a few hours and then add the light brown to the rest of my head? or section out the streaks first (and wrap them up), do the brown dye, rinse, and then add the purple.

Anyone have experience with what was easiest? I usually only do whole head colors.

Thanks in advance! :)

This might seem a bit backward but I would isolate the parts to be dyed purple, dye the brown (keep the blue parts out of the way while you rinse it out) and then bleach. That way if any of the brown manages to run into your hair you can get rid of it before going purple.
You might find it useful to wait a couple of days so that the brown has been shampooed once or twice to minimise bleeding.
