Hello,
You might have noticed on the front page that we moved servers. The site was being really slow on our old server so we got a new and better one. I hope you notice things are a lot faster.
Migrating to a new server can be quite a hassle and it's possible we missed some things when we moved. Have you found anything missing or broken? If so let me know here.

Some things I know are broken:
* images and styles (layout for the site) may not be loading for everyone yet. This will fix itself in the next 24 hours or so.
* uploading gallery photos in Internet Explorer doesn't work. I took Friday to look at that and am still very puzzled. Will continue to work on this.
* one user's rating has gone nuts and has caused the "new members say hi" and another topic to stop working. Another weird problem I'm looking into.
* RSS feeds work sporadically at best. Will fix this eventually.

So while I'm fixing things, anything else broken?

Oops yeah thanks. I knew about that one too. Will add it to my list.

I'm not sure if it's due to this, but the link to the forum topic "Synthetic Wefts" under "Styling-> Extensions" produces an error.

Not sure why but a couple of forum topics are screwed. The forum is the only part of the site I didn't write from scratch so it's taking me a while to find the cause of the error.

No problem! I'll post again if I find something.
I know debugging can be a pain and having input on errors can help.

I can't insert an img tag with a tilde (~) in it. The forum software seems to get confused. I was trying to link to an old image in my unix home directory at my ISP and it failed to parse correctly when I saved it.

Here's an example of the img tag:



Edit: Hm, I initially said it didn't work with a url tag, but when I did it here, it did, so maybe I screwed it up the first time. The img still doesn't work, though.

Ah, I see, I think it only messes up the first instance, so when I had both the img and the url above, the url worked. Here's the url by itself:

Thanks for that. I'll add it to the list of allowed characters in URLs so it's treated as any other URL.

We got the user ranking error fixed so now there should be no broken forum topics, all the /accounts/ pages should work as should everyone's user profiles. There were 3 users whose ranking had gone a bit crazy, no one else was affected.

Also the IE upload problem is almost fixed and we'll hopefully get that finished off this week.
