I want to do something new with my hair, but have no idea what to do. I currently have limey green hair with the tips fading to a weird green-brown-blonde. my hair does this stupid curly wavey thing towards the front right after its washed so i have to straighten it.
i really want to do black but my mom says no because its too hard to get out. she also wants me to grow it out.
i really dont want to do that because of the irritating inbetween stage where its not short and its not long.
any ideas about anything? im willing to listen to any sugesstions.

Be very open and honest with who and what you are. If people still like you, fine, if not, that's their problem.

bangs an irritating length, maybe ill grow them out
you can see the blondeybrown color(still kinda pink)
good view of the lime color

You can always try a semi-permanent black, like manic panic raven. I suppose that would be easier to get out. Is black the only colour you'd like or do you just want a change?

I think how long you keep your hair is up to you, it's you that has to care for it after all. :)

By the way, I like how your computer's on haircrazy :p

Your hair is so light I would definately do something really crazy if I were you. Mix several awesome colors :D
The lime green thing actually suits you really well. And I really like your cut, or out grown cut or whatever you want to call it. It's cool 8)

to dye for :D

I definitely wouldn't do permanent black, because that's really difficult to bleach out if you got bored of it (which you probably will). As Battlesheep said, if you want to go black, try semi-permanent.

Maybe grow out your hair a little bit longer, long enough to get it into a ponytail or something. You can get a bunch more hairstyles once you can put it up.

As for colours... the green still looks fairly strong in the pics, and might contaminate your next colour. If you want something on the opposite side of the colour wheel, try lightening the colour first.

I found when my hair was the length yours is now it was at its most versatile. I found it really easy to get different looks - way more than I do now it's longer.

Anyway, here's an idea. How about doing lots of fine streaks of purple, green, blue and turquoise or some other combination of colours. It will look good straight or curly. If you have a lot of colours in at once you're probably less likely to get bored.

Suggets based on previous posts pulling up the hair and dying the lower two inches by the back and sides a semi-permanent black.then let the hair down and the let the blonde/green lie over the black underneath. Suggest letting the green fade out more and eventually apply a bleach cap to the blonde hair to pull out more of the green and create a greater contrast between the blonde and the black.
