Just a curious question...

What are the best color combinations on hair that you have either seen/done?
They can be unnatural/unnatural ;; natural/unnatural ;; natural/natural.
Basucally anything, I'm trying to rack my brain for inspiration and none are coming up.

There are some amazing photos in there.

ive noticed that nobody really puts primaries together....
i mean theres orange and red and blue and green and....hardly ever yellow.

i really like pinks and oranges. they make me think of candy.

I inhabited Antimony and Lace a long time ago, and some of the ladies on there had some absolutely stunning combinations. Blue fading to purple fading to red on mid-back hair was a favorite of mine.

Yeah, pink and orange is juicy, kindof :D For some reason that almost always look good.

I've seen some great pics of Atomic Pink/Fishbowl. Too cute.

Also Cupcake Pink/White Blond/Black...all I can say is WOW.

I'm also a fan of chunks of unnatural color in an otherwise "normal" color. There's another site that has a pic of Virgin Rose and Napalm Orange chunks in dark brown hair. It looks gorgeous.

I agree that orange looks fantastic. I remember it was a big joke when I was younger (having red or carrot colored hair was not "in style"). Kind of like brown pants. Now I tend to like both.

Tough sometimes getting inspiration, fortunately never hurt myself to much, when inspiration hits me. SFX random placement of chunks of Cupcake Pink and Electric Blue with about 60% pink and 40% blue. Rainbow with dark red at the bangs and purple at the nape of the neck in 2" sections. Star pattern from top of head in purple with next layer medium blue, with final layer also in star pattern in medium green. Blue black 4" section at base of neck and he rest a burgandy/red, so the red hangs over the blue-black and the black peaks out from under the red. Final suggestion all black except for 4 " pink chunk on left or right side above the ear.

I've looked at the gallery and some of the stuff is just like amazing.

My fave clor combos are:

-White + anything
-Pink + turquoise
-Blues + Yellow
-Purple + red
-Purple + Blonde
-Pink + Blonde
-Blue + Blonde


And I saw this really cool pic of somethign with huge like chunks of streaks of unnatural color in natural hair, and Thats what I'm gonna do cause its like exactally the haircut I wanted, and it combines color that you can notice thats not over the whole head.
I was thinking green + Brown, I just needa find out if the hairdressers I'm going to can do bright green.
If not then I'm going purple.

Just get them to bleach your hair and then dye it yourself.
Because I think the brown and green would look really good on you.
