How damaging is it to have black hair dye professionally stripped out of your hair?

It's more damaging than normal hair-dying but it's not like your hair is gonna fall off or anything. It's perfectly safe and definitely better than bleaching it from black. :)

i also asked this a few weeks ago, and none of my local hair dressers will do it for me, too much risk of it going funny colours was their reasoning, but ye its not uber good for you're hair but its not the worst thing you can do to it
