now I'm a first timer here.

is there a way I could sort of, glaze my hair so that it remains the same color but, for example, shines pink in the light?

what color is your origional hair?
I know that there is a hair glaze out there, but its clear. All it does is make your hair shiny.

But my friend has blonde hair and if you use shampoo for red hair it gives it a pinkish tint.
It washes out after 3 days though if you stop using the shampoo.

    ha, forgot to mention that

I'd have to say kinda dark/medium brown.

hey, looking at the Dying Unbleached Hair article, you think I'd get a sorta glazed effect following that procedure with a very light color?

I don't know if the red shampoo thing will work for you...
It might make you go more redhead/auburnish than pink.

i would find a burgundy pinkish dye and put that over your natural color.
it may change your normal color a bit, but maybe you could apply it in streaks so it wasnt your whole head.
in the sunlight it will shine a nice pinkish red color.

Be very open and honest with who and what you are. If people still like you, fine, if not, that's their problem.
