Hey guys, I need your help. My prom is may 10th and I want to have awesome hair. I'm planning on wearing a set of dread falls (burgandy and black) and I can't decide how to have my bangs. I used to have side swept bangs (pics below) and I'm thinking of going back to them, yet I'm also considering a 'v' cut. Currently I have grown out straight bangs. As for the color of my hair, I believe I am going to go back to the color in the side swept bangs pic below..that burgundy color because it matches my dress (corset gown)...So please give me your opnions ^_^

This is how I looked with side swept:

Current style, but grown out:

This is the top of my prom gown AKA my lovely unfinished corset that I need to match:

Also, If I got 'v' cut bangs...how should I get them done?

I make corsets....

Okay #1, beautiful corset! Second, I'd stay with the side swept bangs. I really like the first hairstyle. Sleek and chic. I hope when you make up your mind, please post prom pictures! Hope everything goes well!

I'm not sure but I think you suit the side swept ones more. If you get 'V' bangs I think it'll look better if they're a bit thicker than your bangs in the second picture, to show the shape better.

Also, great corset!

I'd go with the side swept ones. You'd be less likely to get tired of them quickly and like battlesheep said, you'd have to cut them pretty thick for the v-shape to come out.
Will you post pics when you're hair is all done?

Omg your corset is so pretty!
And my vote is also for the side bangs.
Oh and btw I love burgandy hair!

Your event is in a couple of days, so I guess this is for the future. If you want to do bangs/fringe without a commitment, you can use a hairpiece/fake fringe. You can buy them online through a variety of retailers/DIYers or make yourself using weft hair. I like the pointed V style bangs, too, but I think they'd be a pain to keep up and keep looking good! I fell in love with them ever since Liza Minelli played Sally Bowles in Cabaret.
