My hair is currently 'glazed' magenta all over, except for two streaks which I had dyed blonde that I decided to cover as they were looking rather brassy. The colour I've used is one by Scwarzkopf called Rebel Pink (I can't remember its exact brand name now, but it has a brush applicator like on the ends of the tubes of shoe leather cream).

I'm planning on going blue once that colour's faded and I REALLY don't want to bleach any more of my hair as it's wrecked enough now!

Just wondering what your experience was like with any of the following colours:

Try: Special Effects - Blue Velvet, Deep Purple, Blood Red, Burgundy Wine, Sonic Green.
Manic Panic - Deadly Nightshade, Vampire Red, After Midnight Blue, Black & Blue, Enchanted Forest.
Directions - Midnight Blue, Rubine, Alpine Green, Plum

My hair is naturally dark brown. If it's any help, I dyed the Rebel Pink over another colour in the same line as it called Scandal Red, which I allowed to fade to a salmon red (in my streaks).

Would I need a toner if I wanted to change my colour?
Sorry for all the questions and so on - I'd just like some help please.

By the time you finish reading this, it'll be too late to realise this signature doesn't actually say anything!!

    Hello,
Well I think most of the Special Effects colours you've chosen will cover it since they're quite good for pigment levels. I'd be wary of greens if you can't get all the red tones out - red + green = brown.

Manic Panic - Vampire Red and Black & Blue should give you noticeable results.

Again, the directions colours chosen are similar to the SFX but watch out for the green if the pink/red doesn't fade out a lot first.

I know it's difficult but if you can do a strand test you'll have a much better idea what kind of colour result to expect.

On coloured hair a toner really isn't going to do much - they're better suited to colour corrections on already pale colours.

    Hope this helps.
