hello! gotta say I love this site and everyones hair looks fantastic!
I have a dilemma and I hope someone can help me. I have pink streaks in my hair which need redyeing cos they are fading. I also have yellow blonde streaks and blonde striped coontails. Hopefully you can see this in the photo.
Once before, I had bleached blonde streaks and when I redyed the pink streaks, when I washed the dye out it dyed the blonde streaks so they looked kinda uneven peach, not the effect I was after really!
The Special Effects Atomic Pink I use is quite potent and doesn't fully wash out of my hair until about 5-10 washes after it's dyed, so every time I have to gather the blonde streaks and hold them out of the way and wash them seperately. It's quite a chore with my hip length hair :(
Basically are there any easy methods that anyone can think of to wash all of my hair without the new pink dye spoiling the bleached blonde streaks?
any help would be great!!!
thanks in advance!

ok its a bad photo but you can see my hair :)

Unfortunately not that I can think of. There's not really much else you can do other than slathering Vaseline on the blonde hair but there's still a chance it could get tinted pink, particularly as you wash the blonde hair.

Try washing the hair in sections?
EDIT: wups. guess I didn't read the whole thing at first. x)

You might try using some color-shampoos or something, but I don't know if that will help too much. Try putting shampo in the hair when it's dry and rinse to get out some of the excess color, then it won't bleed -that- much.

Your hair looks great in the pic btw :)

    to dye for :D
