Hey there HC Folk...

I've just recently bleached my hair blonde and sort of want to stay that way for the summer. I'm trying to grow my hair out a bit, too, but right now I'm not sure if I can stand it. It's a bit blah. So I'm looking for suggestions. I think I want to keep it mostly blonde, but what other color(s) do you think would look good? What style(s)? Show me what you've got. Everyone seems to have good ideas here!

I attached a couple of pictures to show the length of my hair. I have a bit of a weight line/undercut in the back.

I'd ideally like to grow my hair out to a bottom of the ear or chin length, but right now, I need a STYLE!!!

You lasted longer than I thought

How about some blue or turquoise? I can't remember seeing you with those colours recently.
I'd probably go for some graduated colour so the blonde could fade into a deeper colour at the ends.
I had mine coloured that way for a while a few years back (http://haircrazy.info/timelines/Jude/2003/12/12/62/) and really enjoyed it.

I'll need to have a think for some style ideas...

I have been thinking about Fishbowl or perhaps Electric Blue lately. Fishbowl did not last all that long on me when I did it before. I know Electric Blue is DARK. Kind of worried about it bleeding, but it might look cool. I'd probably do streaks or just a bit in my bangs.

I was thinking about getting a high undercut in back, sort of a horseshoe shape, ending just under the occipital (bump on the back of the head/skull) and also getting some shorter, razory bangs/fringe.

I really hate growing out hair, since it's about patience, something I know I sorely lack.

oohh i have a plan for my hair that i wont get to do for a really long time, but it might work for you now.

what you should do is try and get a large secton of hair right on the top of your head and do it turquoise:
kind of like that only without the blonde running through it.

Be very open and honest with who and what you are. If people still like you, fine, if not, that's their problem.

That pic looks good. I kind of reminds me of one of the Adams adventures when I coloured a big circular chunk of his hair (on the top and off to the side) a different colour from the rest. It was a pretty versatile 'do.

I like it. My hair's not as long as the picture, but I think I'm going to just get the bangs/fringe cut shorter and the back more of an inverted U shape. Then maybe someday the sides will be chin length.

I do like the blue. Not sure if I have the courage. Isn't that funny??? I've never done blue on its own.

Oh even before I read the other responses I was gonna say blue. I think there's a winner.

Try doing some random streaks in the front parts of your hair. Maybe a few random chunks in the back as well.

Also, the good think about blue is it fades pretty nicely if you're wanting to go back to all blond.

I've also looked at Wildflower a few times and never bought it. It's sort of purple/blue. I've seen pictures that look really blue...like a weird blueberry color. Yum.

Purple Smoke is quite like wildflower but less purple. For me was a kind of cornflower blue, pastel with no other shades reflecting in strong light. I think it would look good on short hair but can look kind of straggly on long hair (mine was super long at the time and it didn't look great, especially since remnants the previous colour was still present).
I may have some pics lying about if you're set on that colour and want to see.
