I finally did my hair a week ago, it was in a horrible state colour-wise, so I had to bleach it first to get it to a more manageable colour. It turned greenish at some parts, but all in all it was much easier to cover up than the muddy brown I had before. The turquoise parts look kinda bluish at parts (probably because of the purple bleeding through it while washing) or grayish (still needs more bleaching).
I used Special Effects Pimpin Purple, Directions Turquoise, and Crazy Color Cyclamen. Most of my hair is purple, with the side s of my face and fringe (grown out short bangs) turquoise and a chunk of cyclamen on one side, next to the turquoise. Also to give it some more variation, I made the turquoise go on at one side, underneath the purple, sort of like an underlayer, to the back of my head. And from the other side I did the same with the pink so they kinda met at the middle of the back of my head.
So, when my hair's down it looks mostly purple with a little turquoise, but when I put it up in a ponytail or half-ponytail the undercolours show and it becomes much more colourful. And if I pull my hair back the turquoise covers most of the purple at the top of my head and it looks very nice with the purple peaking from underneath.
Also put a stripey 'coontail kind of thing on the pink using the 3 colours I had.
I don't know if the pictures show the colours well, I'm pretty sure they're brighter and more vibrant outside and maybe Pimpin Purple is a bit more purple than shown.
For some reason, my sister's camera generally refuses to show purple/pink colours well. Hm... go figure.
