Hello there...

I am attending a regional Burning Man event here in Milwaukee and was just looking for ideas from people. What do you think would be cool for me to do, wear, etc.? Basically, with any Burning Man event, the sky is really the limit. It's a private, over 21 event. I can get in with a discount if I do some "art", bring food/drinks, generally get more into the spirit of the event.

So far, I'm planning on bringing food and/or candy, zines (I make my own) and postcards (this is a joint effort with my husband) of artwork.

I want to do my makeup really wild. I have pink, chartreuse green and orange eyeshadows, plus hot pink and white loose glitter. I am thinking about making a dread fall to wear as well. I've only got a handful of dreads (8 medium thick) and can only make a ponytail (short) to attach it, so I'm thinking of adding foam to the fall since it's light and bulky.

What do you think? I'm excited!

Some kind of UV reactive/Glow in the dark stuff could be cool - maybe rexlace or tubing to add to your hair?

What kind of postcards do you make? Have you got any scanned? I love printed work whether done by hand or computer.

Not sure what I'm going to wear. I've got some leopard pants that are fuschia.

I made a fall that's some black synth dreads mixed with cut pieces of natural leopard fabric (fuzzy sort). It looks pretty good so far, but I might add more to it. I also have natural leopard shoes...so I might do some sort of leopard themed "costume"/outfit.
