Sooo...
I am asking for everyones opinion for the best product in 2 different areas.

1. Hair Repair/Treatment
This can be a deep conditioner, serum, creme, gel, anything. I know that you cannot actually repair your hair permenantly, but i know that you can make it look better and kinda help it. Anyone have a good product?

2. Straightening/Heat Protectant
I would prefer this to be a serum/creme over a spary, but if you have an amazing spray that works for you please share. I'm looking for something that will protect my hair alot better then the stuff I have that isn't workign too well, yet won't be too greasy and will help my hair stay straight against the weather.
Haha I'm basically wishing for a miracle.

Anythign that works for you please share.
If you could also tell me how and when you use it? [ie. when your hair is wet/dry] And how long your hair is? [I've used stuff when my hair was shorter that worked amazing, but now that my hair is long its not that good.] also if your hair is madd curly/straight/wavy or thick/fine. I have wavyish hair thats thicker.
Thank you so much!

I have 3 I am using right now.
The first one is a daily deep conditioner by Neutrogena (surprisingly.. I didn't know they did hair stuff ) It's called Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner. I keep it in for about 1-2 minutes in the shower then rinse it out. It's very nice. There's also a smoothening anti frizz cream, same brand I use when my hair is damp before blow drying.

The 2nd deep conditioner I got from my hairdresser, it's called Pure Recovery Conditioner by Abba. I have been using this every 3-4 days for about 2 months, I use it after I shower and wash my hair, and leave it to set for 20 minutes, then rinse. It smells minty! My hair was pretty much "about to fall off my head" dead before all this stuff, my routine has helped a lot.

--ps my hair is naturally pretty thick and wavy, but since it's been processed so much, it's a lot thinner and straighter (+ frizzier) My hair is also relatively short (almost shoulder length)

Ion Reconstructor is good if your hair is wrecked. It's too good for my hair now I've grown the bad bits out but it can pretty much put your hair back together for a few days at a time.
I always follow that with a deep conditioner though, otherwise it can make the hair feel stiff. I use the Tresemme one that comes in a pot for that.
If your hair is medium-fried I recommend those Nice N Easy conditioner tubes. Despite their marketing it doesn't matter which one you buy for your hair colour in my experience.

For heat protection I use L'Oreal Hot Straight. I prefer the cream ones so this suits me well. I also use a silicone serum that I picked up really cheaply from the afro hair section in sallys. It adds shine and has a certain amount of heat protection properties.

Toni & Guy do a straightening spray. It's supposed to protect your hair from the heat but I think its best property is that it keeps your hair really really straight for a full day. It stink though so I don't use mine often.

When you say it stinks, do you mean smell wise or performance wise?

Smell. Some people like the smell on my hair but when I use that product it's all I can smell all day and to me it overpowers my perfume. Other than that it's great.

    1. I'm addicted to Pureology Reconstructive Treatment, it helps keep my hair really soft and helps with breakage. It has this really cool lime scent too. There was another one I used by FX, I forget the name but it really saved my hair after a hairstylist fried it.
    2. Phyto Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm is THE BEST hair relaxer I've ever used. It's made purely of botanicals, and keeps my hair straight for about 2-3 days. You put it in after conditioning, while your hair's still wet, and then either blowdry or wait to dry, then straighten. It halves the amount of time I need to straighten my hair, and keeps it soft, not anything like that stiff feeling I hate of straightened hair. Great stuff.

I always try different conditioners just for fun.
Some examples are Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask, John Frieda Frizz-Ease Reinforce Strengthening Creme Masque, VO5 Total Hair Recovery.
    I've liked all of them.
Right now I have some Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Replenishing Mask that I got on sale.
Haven't tried it out yet but I'm sure I'll like it.
As for a serum, I'm very loyal to John Frieda Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection Serum.
    It's worth the money!
I recently bought the new Creme Serum Overnight Repair Formula.
Haven't been able to tell if it's making a difference though, my summer job wreaks havoc on hair because I wear a hairnet and a helmet all day.
    Definitely like the concept though.
