alright so here is my problem: i cant get this black semi permanent dye out. it was only supposed to last twenty or so washes.
here is what i did: first i used one n only color stripper. it didnt work as well as it has in the past, so instead of a golden blond color i got an odd reddish brown, i figure that its nothing that bleach cant get out which was my plan anyway. so i wait a day and then do the bleach. while im waiting for it to do its thing with a silly bag on my head, it starts dripping/leaking clear watery stuff that i can hear fizzing. it was odd but i just put a towel over my head to keep the bleach from getting on my clothes. i wait forty five minutes for the brown color to get out and it just wont do much of anything. i really cant stand it for much longer because its doing the usual itchy burny thing. i give up and rise it and super condition it.
so now i have pure wite roots where my natural growth was, dark strawberry blond for most of the rest of it. it didnt even take the green out all of the way!!

so what im asking is should i try to bleach it again? should i go on with what i wanted to do after this and cut it into a mohawk? i really dont know what to do.
i have enough money to get more bleach but thats all for this month and i REALLY wanted to get entered into the photo of the month contest:(
im trying to get my hair white with colored streaks running through it.

i would put pics up but currently my hair is wet and my camera is dead.

im sorry its so long.

How about dyeing it as is? You'll get excellent results with red. Purple or dark pink shades should also look good. The effect would be bright at the roots graduating to darker tones. Would look good as a mohawk or as is.

Don't worry too much about the competition - I'm thinking we'll probably need to extend it due to some problems with uploading at the beginning of the month.

If you do bleach again I'd apply only to the darkest hair and maybe to the strawberry blond part near the end for about 10 minutes.

Make sure not to bleach your roots again, it will make your hair too thin and god forbid break and fall out.

I think it would look pretty cool to have color on it as it is with bright roots.
I have always had to wait for my hair to grow out after using black dye, You can try bleaching the brown again, but be careful not to weaken your hair too much.
Use a good conditioner and let your hair soak in it for a while, it needs some recovery time inbetween bleachings.
