Just curious if anyone is going to cosmetology school or considering it. I actually am considering it right now (among other things). I want a career I like and that allows (and rewards) creativity and self-expression. The downside is tution prices (private schools are crazy expensive and the local public tech school only offers day classes) and the resulting pay (low for new stylists).

This would also be a career change for me. I already have a BS in Psychology, but have been waffling on pursuing a MS for over a year, due to the huge commitment and insane costs (about $50K from start to finish....ouch).

Wow that's expensive. If I ever did a post grad course I'm sure I'd have to do one with funding or sponsorship. There's no way I want to go back to uni any time soon though!

I'd like to know some of the tips and tricks people at hair dressing college learn without having to actually do a course. It would be super useful but I'm too busy to do any training.
