my hair is currently faded from sfx blue haired freak with a streak of atomic pink/cupcake pink/conditioner. the blue is now a mix of a kind of a lavender-ey blue in parts to a greenish blue-gray in others. i want to dye cherry bomb over the whole mix.

i'm not worried about the pink parts or the lighter parts of the blue, i know that cherry bomb is a strong enough color to cover both of those, no problem. i am, however, a little worried of how the cherry bomb will cover the bluer sections. i'm currently doing a strand test and have been shampooing twice daily to fade the blue as much as possible. anyone have any experience with a similar situation?

I'm thinking it might go somewhat purple when it starts to fade. Otherwise, I think it will look good. Cherry Bomb's already a little bit cooler in tone, so I think it'll look good either way. I've done blue (Fishbowl) over Cherry Bomb & Atomic Pink (mixed) and it still was bluish, albeit a little more subtle. Happy coloring!

I think it will look fine. I agree that it's likely to go a bit purple at the stronger blue parts but cherry bomb is a nice strong colour so I'm sure it'll look great.
