My last fade with Manic Panic Aftermidnight and Raw True Blue. Almost two months since my last touch up and I'm about 20 different shades of blue, green, and dirty silver.

I love the Raw, but I think it's time for a change. I need ideas! I have a bottle of SFX Blue Velvet that I want to mix down to a brighter blue or aqua. Any ideas which one will lighten it up enough? My hair is past my waist so I'll need at least one more bottle, maybe two.

Should I mix it all up and do my whole head one color? Half head/half head? Or random all over streaks? I like to let it fade out as long as possible, so colors that fade into surprising new shades or turn weird colors are my favorites, like Blue Velvet going purple and MP Aftermidnight's notorious murky green.

Looks good...and lasts a long time on you. I'm envious. I wish I had more hair. I'm craving dreads! Another MKEan, too!

How about big slabs of SFX all over your head allowing the non dyed sections to fade and blend with the bleeding new darker blue?

I bet youd get some cool results off that

Chunky streaks would look great if you wear your hair braided often. You can get really pretty effects that way.

Once upon a time when I highlighted my hair, I read on the instructions that if you braid you hair and then slather the dye onto the braids, you'll get a neat effect.. not sure what it is though :-\
