so the first picture is right after i died it about a week ago. then the second picture is only a couple days after=( and now only a week later the blue is completely out and back to blonde again i dont know why came out so fast. it was bleached first and everything. it might be because im in chlorine everyday for swimteam but i wear a cap so most of it doesnt even get wet. also i have been out in the sun quite a bit for tennis. could that maybe have something to do with it?..but what i wanna know is im planning on dying it again soon so is there anything i can do to get it to last longer even with the chlorine and the sun?

Fishbowl does not stand up to swimming and the sun very well.
I've had my hair practically turn blonde after two days of being outside.
Punky Turquoise had a tendency to fade to that silvery colour very quickly as well.
However, I found that mixing a fair amount of dye with my conditioner really helped.
Much more cost efficient than dying my hair every week.

Yup I'd go with the sun. I've had a strong blue fade to a silvery blue in a matter of ours in strong sunlight. I'd try some UV protective products. Shampoo and Conditioner for coloured hair often have UV filters and you can buy products especially for that purpose.

Charles Worthington does little minatures of his products that last absolutely ages. There's a sun protection spray for like, £1.65 in Boots.

Give your hair a good wash with some clarifying shampoo.
Apply the dye, put on a showercap or plastic wrap, and leave it in for as long as possible.
Use a hairdryer and apply heat to help your hair take the colour.
Afterwards I really recommend adding some dye to your conditioner.
Because I did all of the above and it still turned that damn silvery colour after a few washes.

You're not supposed to wet your hair for 3 days after getting it dyed, so that could be part of the problem with it fading so fast.

when you say add the leftover dye to my conditioner..do you mean just like dump it all in the bottle of conditioner, mix it up, and use it as i would normally or should i do it differently. i wasnt sure if i left the dye and the conditioner together too long if it would have a weird reaction or something like that. and what kind of conditioner would you suggest?

oh yeah and does anyone have any recomendations for a sun protection type thing i can use in my hair for being out in the sun?.

btw, thanks for all your guys help =)
