The bottom is a mix of wildflower and ultra violet, the top is a custom blue made from after midnight blue, ultra violet and conditioner.

Don't ask what I'm doing with my face...it's late at night.

that's a gorgeous shade of blue! Quick question: what exactly does adding conditioner to the hair dye do? does it make it a lighter color?

Yeah, it changes in different lighting--sometimes it's deep royal blue and sometimes it's nearly turquoise.

Conditioner makes it lighter, yeah. But to get pastels (especially with dark colors like After Midnight and Ultra Violet), you have to add a TON of conditioner.

Looks lovely! Very nice deep blue :) I've only ever tried Blue Mayhem (SFX), which I loved, but it's brighter/lighter than your blue.

I'm so jealous! i can never get blue to come out blue on my hair... it always turns out a crappy green.

It looks really awesome on you.

If i have to be like them I'd rather be no one.

To The Lone Hipster: It probably has to do with how light your hair is when you put the blue in. It really does have to be pale blonde. Also you have to leave it in for as long as you can possibly manage.
