So I finally decided to jump in the deep end and go for a white or silver color!

I decided to make my own sort of toner. I mixed a ton of conditioner with the tiniest amount of blue velvet i could manage. it turned it a plum-purple color,

when i put it on my hair it turned out to be a very light and silvery blue. I was pretty excited, but it looked like crap against the yellow and orange, so i just quickly (and VERY carelessly) bleached it out with a 20v. There were still bright yellow spots from the orange:

I did my whole head in this blue color, which was a bit difficult to do, as my tint brush wouldn't spread the color so I had to use my hands and even that didn't work great. There are many small patches of blond still which look a little odd, so I'll have to go back and fix this today. I also need to go through with another light bleaching to get the remaining yellow out of my hair, as it looks like SH*T when it mixes with the blue:

Below are a few pics of my hair after the first part of dying it. I'll post a few more later once i fix up some of the color issues I have going on..hmm.. I think I may add more dark blue(not too much!), any suggestions as to where I should put it?

Thanks for looking!

you could always do a bit of middle layer of the dark blue to cover up the yellow? then you might not need to bleach it out so much.

the pale color is great, love the dark blue streak too.

Yay. I'm happy that method worked for you also. Maybe add some dark blue to the longer underlayers of hair.

That's good that it came out silvery. Mine was like that last time I mixed up a silvery colour. It's so hard to get even!
Maybe you'd like to add it to the photo story section? http://www.haircrazy.info/article/add

You could either copy and paste this or add more if you can think of it. There'll be a comments section at the bottom so if you leave stuff out people are sure to ask so either is fine.
