I want to dye my hair blue. i looked at every blue that i could find and really want to use Blue Mayhem but Hot Topic doesn’t sell it anymore and i cant order it offline because my parent wont let me. the only colors of blue that they have is are sfx fishbowl and blue haired freak, or RAW true blue. they have manic panic but i dont like it and it fades to fast.

So, has anyone ever used True Blue or know of another place in new jersey that sell Blue Mayhem?

I have actually used almost all the blues you have mentioned above!!! lol In the summer before my sophomore year i had streaks put in my hair of the RAW true blue hair dye. I'd say it has really good lasting power, but it sort of changes colors as you wash it. It stayed a sort of cerulean blue for awhile but faded and washed into more of a teal color...I went swimming and that caused the streaks to have green tones and consequently turned my hair more a blue green. I just dyed my entire hair recently with large streaks of the RAW True Blue, sfx fishbowl and blue haired freak, and Manic Panic After Midnight Blue. So far everything has stayed in ok, but the Manic Panic has already faded a bit and it's only been in for 6 days!! Everything else seems fine. And you're in jersey as well?? Well I only know Northern NJ, as that is where I am from, and there's a place at the Paramus Park mall called Urban Groove that would probably have that color. Please e-mail me if you wish to speak on this more at:Chrstalrose@yahoo.com.

That's the first time I used it, you can sort of see that it turns a bit aqua color, especially on very light hair in a lot of sun.

That page has a few more pictures, from freshly dyed to several months faded. Overall I loved it, it had great staying power and fades so many fun colors. My only complaint was that it smells very, very strongly of blueberry candy. It took a few washings over two weeks before the smell finally went away.

Ce n'est pas une signature.

Actually I kinda liked the blueberry candy smell...It made me feel like I was dying my hair the color of some Willy Wonka candy! lol
