Planning on getting a 30 volume developper and bleach powder and doing the 45 minute-wrap-in-plastic-wrap-and-blowdrying-thing. I hope by this point my hair will be very white-blond. I will then mix MP After Midnight Blue with some conditioner to make a toner (though I don't know how long to keep that, how much dye (was thinking a teaspoon) or if there was a specific kind of conditioner I should use... so help with that?).

What does every/[any]one think? Will one bleach be enough? My hair is currently fully natural-colored... It's rather thin in my opinion so I'd rather not bleach it more than once...
(I figure if I don't like it white, I'll dye it to a different color so I wanna do the smallest possible bleach-damage)

Also, any other tips/suggested modifications to my plan?
Suggested products?

Thanks.

That looks similar to my natural color, so 45-55 minutes might work with your hair to achieve white(Though I was only doing my roots when I got the white color, it might work for the rest of your hair. Just keep checking on it!)

For a toner, I did a bunch a guess-work and it worked for me, but you may want to wait for specifics. I mixed a small amount of blue with a squirt of conditioner, mixed it together and looked at how dark it still was. I tested its consistency by squishing it in my fingers to see if it was pale and translucent when spread apart, or I just put some in my roots to see if it came out very pale on my hair.

The color you come up with should be very pale blue or purple(depending on the base-color of your blue) when applied to hair. Just remember that even if there is a light color to your hair, this will fade pretty quickly in a few washes to your desired color.

Okay, well I hope that helps!

For the toner thing...
Make sure the conditioner you start out with is white. It doesn't have to be a specific type. You want the color to be very pale blue or purple, just as missihavenolife said.
I'd say it would be about 1/3 dye and 2/3 conditioner...or even less dye than that actually. It depends on the color of blue you start out with. Since you are starting with a very dark blue, I think more conditioner would be better.

Also, you may want to apply it to slightly damp hair if you think your hair will absorb the color too much.

I have a few tips too.
If I were you I wouldn't apply heat to the bleach. Almost all bleaches are designed to work at room temperature and when you apply heat you loose a bit of control over the lightening process. If your hair is all piled on top of your head and you apply heat it's going to affect the hair on the outside of the pile more than the heat from your head will affect the inside part plus. Also keep in mind that some bleaches specifically say they're not to be used with heat.
Also don't forget the roots bleach faster so apply the bleach to the midlengths and ends first.

For mixing up a toner it's best to use a thick conditioner. The cheaper runnier varieties tend to look ok when you mix them but go darker when you apply it giving a purple or blue result. I like pantene conditioners for this since they're nice and thick and easy to mix.
