A couple weeks ago I got completely fed up with my Blue Velvet hair, and figured that'd I'd do a bleach bath and hope it went lavender. Instead, it turned most of my hair pastel pink, with the exception of several patches that refused to give up the blue. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but I figured I'd try to do Cupcake Pink, something I've been trying to achieve for over a year. I also decided to stick some Limelight in front, because green was suggested to me by some people on here.

So I got my roots bleached out and had my mum help me put the dye on. I left it on for somewhere between two and three hours [X_x I forget], blow drying it for seven minutes, then letting it sit for five, before rinsing it out.

It is ridiculously vibrant and amazing, pretty much neon in natural light. The photos I have do not give it justice. Especially the Limelight. And as a bonus, I look like a watermelon. ^_^

I've had it for a week and a half now and the Cupcake Pink hasn't really faded at all, though some of the blue-ish patches have. [Squee.] The Limelight's gone a bit more yellow towards the roots, but that's about it.

Watermelon is like my favorite fruit and green and pink are awesome colors I love it!

Looks awesome with the UV light.

looks sweet! did the colors ever mix when you washed your hair?

There was a thin section between the two colours that went a bit murky after about a week, but it was barely noticeable. For the most part, the colours managed to stay where they belonged, though the fact that I was washing the two colours separately probably did help.

I did the same colors a couple months ago but I had the pink on top fade into the green. I liked it but it washed out rather quickly.
