I'm interested in doing my hair as gray in a month-ish, but I've had less than wonderful results with toners in the past - are Crazy Color and Directions' grays/silvers toners or dyes?
Also, I looked in the gallery but few photos say what product was used on them - or the hair is more white than gray. Does anybody have a photo from either brand or a very good gray from a different brand?

Getting my hair to a white-blond before I apply will not be a problem.

Directions and Crazy Colour silver and grey are both toners.
