For all of you lovely people in Milwaukee, Wisconsin-

I know that Starship used to carry LaRiche Directions hair dye, but several years ago they started carrying Special Effects instead.

Are there any places in Milwaukee county that sell Directions anymore?

A year or two ago, I had requested other locations to purchase Special Effects, because the Cat's Meow in Madison had closed and was the only place with a semi-reasonable price about $8/bottle to buy Special Effects dye. Thank you for indicating another store, Starship, within a good drive but worth it that carries Special Effects. I currently reside within the Dane County area and cat's Meow was the only store to sell the variety of shades and at a reasonable price. Every other store does not have the variety, like Hot Topic for instance.

Suggest contacting Jude by e-mail because I belive this site does sell hair products like dye. I could be wrong and if so apologize Jude.

About once a month I drive to see family or friends in Milwaukee, so will locate Starship and visit. Good luck Cyndee wish could have been more helpful.

Wow, there are way too many people from Milwaukee on here lol, Hmm...Does Sallys have it? I saw that Starship now also sells another brand that I can't remember the name of now, argh!

Starship and Hot Topics $14 per bottle of SE is really freaking insane, and sadly i bought some, but this bottle of Atomic Pink has lasted me over a year, so hopefully this Blood Red will as well!

All I've ever seen in MKE is Manic Panic & Special Effects, plus NRage and Beyond the Zone @ Sally's. I think Hot Topic has their own brand of hair color now, too. I've seen it online, but I try not to go there too often.

PS I think it's weird (but cool) that there are a bunch of MKE people here. It's such a conservative city, so I wouldn't think there would be so many!

Sally's doesn't carry Directions, most unfortunately. In fact, their range of unnatural colours is really sad.

For a while Starship was carrying the more obscure Underground Colour. Now they are carrying Punky Colour in addition to Special Effects, which I find fabulous since I only previously had access to the three Punky Pro colours my local Sally's carries.

$14? Wow. I got mine at $11.99 per bottle at regular price. Though I usually stock uo on New Year's Day when they have their Half-off Everything sale. $6 a bottle isn't all that bad. Do tell all your hair crazy friends! ^_^

Damn. It would seem that Directions has been driven out of Milwaukee. If anyone sees it anywhere, please do give me a holler.

I know, it's so trippy to find out that there are so many people around here with crazy coloured hair that I have never seen or met, even more so that somehow this many of us all wound up on here!

$14 is pretty good really. Costs me about £10 to get hold of SFX which is about $20.
