hey after soccer season i want to dye my hair purple because during soccer im outside every day
and that will prob have it fade really fast.
so whats the longest lasting purple?
i want a darker purple tho,
like special effects burgandy wine or pimping purple
like around those shades.
nothing pastel

Deep Purple lasts for ages but it starts out nearly black, maybe that's too dark for you?
Pimpin purple lasts pretty well too and fades out to a kind of magenta colour.

Personally, I enjoyed Raw's Purple Passion, it started out very dark. The color has also lasted 3-4 weeks and several washings. It has just begun to fade, I didn't do al of my hair so I have enough to re-dye. Oh, and it smells like candy. :)

my favourite dark purple is La Riche's 'plum' shade. It's a yummy shade and i was amazed by how dark it was (altho not so dark it looked black)
It's staying power is pretty good too and it doesn't seem to fade for a month! (altho in photos it does look blue which is odd lol)

Also thumbs up for Directions Plum. I'm only having to top up mine once a month at most. And I could probably leave it for 2 before it got unbearable.
