Ok, so I have to say I'm probably the queen of hair dye mishaps.

I tried putting blue-black by clairol jazzing over my clairol torrids outrageous cherry. Well, obviously it didn't work. And now my hair is a genocide of color.

I bleached it a few months ago twice and I don't really want to do that again.

So should I get a color stripping kit? And if I do that will it go back to the bleached color?

I also have a bottle of clairol torrids but it's two shades lighter than the outrageous cherry. Could I just put that over this mess?

I figured I'd ask before I messed it up any worse, if that's possible XD

In what way is it a mess? A pic showing the various colours would be helpful if possible.

well my camera phone sucks, so all the pictures i've tried taking make it look just brown. but it's a darker brown near my roots which were my original dirty blonde color when i used the black-blue stuff.

the rest is just a weird brown with some red in it.

Your predicament sounds alot like when my brother's girlfriend was trying to do 4 different colors in my hair.

She tried to do MP-Midnight Blue on my front-left portion, Sp. FX - Iguana Green on my front-right, MP-Flaming on my back-left, and Sp. FX-Bright as **** Yellow on my back-right.

All the colors bled together.......nothing made any sense in my hair. My hair was still pretty well from the last bleach, so we just bleached out all the color, and re-dyed it all MP-Purple Haze.....

So.....yeah. If it's really that bad, and your hair's healthy enough, just bleach your entire head and dye it uniformly.....
