I am wondering. Is there any semi perm red that will show up fairly bright on natural dark brown hair or will all just give a slight tint?

I try sfx blood red sometimes and it makes it pretty red, but not really bright. And I want a cherry-ish color but I'm not allowed to bleach all of my hair.

Another option. i would get highlights and dye it all red, but I'm not sure what that would look like. If it would blend and all look pretty red or if it would look all streaky. I guess it depends on the placement.

And last...how about if I get a perm reddish color.. is there anything that will turn out that bright red without pre bleaching (doesn't matter if there is some peroxide, bleach, whatever in the dye). What I mean is could you recommend a dye that can do that?

Sorry it's long and probably confusing
Thank you!

L'Oreal Feria Power Reds work really well on my dark brown hair.
However the colour doesn't last long so once it fades I top it off with a semi-permanent dye.
And it shows up well because my hair was already lightened.
I did that this summer, first with L'Oreal Spicy Red and then MP Infra Red and it's been great.

    Thanks.

Do you think you could show me a picture?

I have photos of the Spicy Red but didn't take any of the Infra Red because it looks pretty similar to those.
This is what it looked like though:

And when it's more faded it looks like the darker parts:

The only difference between the two dyes is that Infra Red was dark when I first dyed it.
It's been a couple of months now and it looks like the faded orange colour in the second photo.

Another good one is the XXXLive reds, I used them for ages and have medium brown hair and they came out pretty bright.
