okies peeps, about 2 weeks ago i bleached and used this semi-perminant "fire engine" red dye by clairol (can't think of the exact name at the moment) because i wanted to try something new. it was all red and snazzy til about the 2nd wash where it started to wash out to orange and now the middle-sides are still red orange, and the rest of the hair is an assorted ugly orange-salmon light peach color.

anywho...im thinking of going a purple (dark)...permanent if i can find it. and the only purple i can get ahold of (that i know of) that is "permanent" is the RAW purple. ive never used this stuff and ive only read a review about the pink which was kinda disappointing. but has anyone used this shade before or have any suggestions?

thanks a bunch

I suggest using something else. Those "permanent" ones are very rarely permanent. They often contain bleach (which is the permanent aspect to the dye) but the colour fades out just as quickly, if not more so, than other brands.
If it was my hair I'd try a dark semi-permanent like Special Effects.

I just used Raw in Purple Passion I think it was. And by just, I mean I did this like 3 or 4 weeks ago. It is just now beginning to fade. So, it's not permanent per se, still, you should go for it. The color is gorgeous and very deep. I did have to bleach my dark brown hair for it though.
