So, we all have those days where we just DON'T THINK. Today was one of those days for me. woot.
Here's the list for your laughing pleasure,

1) I went to the Renaissance Restival with some friends, all well and good, except I did even think of sunscreen until I was alreay burnt to sin and back. I'm incredibly pale. I think it comes with being English...even though I live in America, I do have a British citizenship...

2) I played DDR even though I'm so sick from allergies and the sun that I can't really breathe and got a nose bleed just from standing up.

3) I drove home wearing leather pants and a black bra. I'm so incredibly lucky that I didn't get pulled over, I'm pretty sure driving with out a shirt on is illegal...

4) I wore boots to the festival that a) aren't broken in, b) I haven't worn in monthes, and c) after a summer of wearing flipflops or extrememly loose sneakers.

and!

5) I just managed to cut open the side of my big toe on my left foot down to what appears to be the muscle. But that's ok, that toe is also blistered so a little MORE pain isn't that noticeable (I also have blisters on the back of my ankle that are broken open and a matching set on my other foot, compliments of walking around for the entire day in boots).

Oh...and 6...
I have a paper to write and a bunch of other school work to do that I have to finish tomorrow because on Monday we're getting a second exchange student. We already are hosting one from Japan (i'm not letting her leave, she's small, cute, and so totally staying forever!) and the new girl is from Tailand. I've effectively gone from being a mostly only child (I have three brothers but the youngest is 16 years older than me...) to having 2 younger "sisters"...and as we are all teenage girls, bathroom time is going to be interesting...

So there's my stupidity for today, feel free to totally ridicule me.

Last year I wore 14-hole doc martens to school...that weren't broken in. And i didn't put on bandaids or anything that day. I was fine for a while and then I felt the blisters and then those broke open and it hurt SO MUCH! I started walking really slow that day, everywhere. Needless to say, I was late to a few classes

I also went to a concert in San Francisco and like the genius I am, I didn't wear sun screen. My fringe slanted across my face, so anything under that wasn't burned, but the rest of my face was. I still have a bad tan from the burn I got on my legs that day.

Everybody has a dumb day. But it's better to have one really bad day and alot of good ones instead of a bunch of so-so days, in my opinion.

Well if it's any consolation I managed to delete all the pictures of my sister's wedding thanks to being drunk and playing with my camera. Luckily I was able to get them back. I felt pretty stupid though!

I once wore a METAL bra to the Renn Faire here in Wisconsin. I learned a number of things:

    1. Owwww!!! Metal gets HOT when exposed to the sun (luckily I HAD worn sunscreen, I did not get sunburned, but that bra did heat up mightily)

    2. Some people who attend the Renn Faire are not as open minded as they appear to be -- i.e. several hundred disgust stares (by women, of course...many of whom were wearing the bar wench costume...they were showing more flesh than I was...by a long shot). Apparently the Xena look is less appreciated than the more traditional look - the funny thing is I bought the bra from a vendor at the faire the year before.

    3. Never wear a metal bra among that many male RPers & Renn dudes --- I never got so much attention. My husband was WAY annoyed.

I also wore "the bra" to a Gen Con afterparty. Same situation. I got rid of the damn thing. Too much drama!!!

I would never wear a metal bra. Not even if I were paid.

I never would again......I learned my lessons. I was going for the Xena look. It was "female armor"/chainmaille. The cups were all metal, though. Not the most comfortable thing in the world.

I just possibly had the second worst day ever (next to websurffer's). I just need to vent right now, since I can't to my family or my friend (you'll see why). Feel free to laugh at me.

    1. I had to get up really early to get to school early today (which isn't that bad, but I was really tired which probably caused the rest of the horrible events).

    2. I hit my elbow really hard on my locker and nearly blacked out, complete with ringing in the ears and nausea (right before gym class too! )

    3. Now this was the worst part. I've been driving for 8 months (and I'll be the first to admit that 8 months is not a long time), and have never hit anything before. Today, I was driving my friend's car through some alley in an area that was unfamiliar to me. I didn't see the street coming up, and I didn't slow down and ended up going up into the next alley way too fast. I got out to check to make sure the car was alright, and then realized that the street I passed was the one I had to turn on. I made a Y-turn... and back up into a pole. I got out quick again and saw a huge scratch on the bumper of my friend's car. Eventually he got his car back and I got mine. I had to go to the store later. When I pulled out of my parking space, I turned too sharply and hit another car. The owner was sitting inside. Luckily he was really nice and we saw that there was nothing wrong with either of our cars (not even a scratch! ), and then he helped me get my car out. That didn't make me feel any less like an idiot though.

That would be just about all the major stupid things I did today.
