I want to dye my eyebrows atlantic blue. Has anyone here ever tried bleaching eyebrows? Aside from 'don't get it in your eyes' can anyone offer any advice/tips?

My eyebrows are a little lighter than my hair and my root bleach almost white in about ten minutes so I'm considering diluting the bleach just so the fumes don't melt my eyes. What do you reckon?

I've bleached my eyebrows before.
I used Jolen but any product designed for bleaching facial hair should be fine.
I find that normal bleach is too runny and potentially dangerous.

I have bleached my eyebrows, but frankly, I wouldn't recommend it. I used regular hair bleach, applied with a Q Tip.

I found it was hard to get the color even and that they were a bit yellow/orange. I got the idea from Kevin Aucoin's book "Making Faces" (it's supposedly good for "opening up the eyes").

I have dk. blonde/lt. brown hair naturally and my eyebrows aren't incredibly dark. Maybe eyeshadow would work better? I know I'd hate to get stains from the dye on my face as well. Just a thought.

I did it. The bleach was fine and everything. I just didn't bank on blue/green eyebrows looking really really stupid. Nevermind. I guess I'll be pencilling them in for a while!

EDIT: Having dried and straightened my hair and put some makeup on they somehow look fine. Good, even. I'll get a pic up later.

Looking forward to the pic. I tried that once and then immediately dyed them back to black. Atlantic blue was way too pale. It might have looked better on me with something like Blue Velvet but I figured doing my hair was enough upkeep
