Due to the nature of AFN, sometimes there are lots of good shows or movies on, and other times there will be a fat lot of nothing. Lately, it's been the latter. Does anyone have any suggestions for interesting TV shows or movies?

My favorite show of the moment is Heroes. I'm also into Cold Case, CSI, and Law & Order. Not sure if you have access to any of those, as I think you're in Germany(?).

I've seen a few decent movies lately. I usually don't go for the big "hollywood blockbuster" movies, but Click (with Adam Sandler) was cute and The Lake House (with Keanu Reeves & Sandra Bullock) made me cry like a little girl.

I can't remember whether you told me you watched Prison Break or not but I'm currently hooked on that... I just wish they'd hurry up and show series three on Five.
I enjoyed the Sopranos though very expensive if you were going to buy any of the box sets. One for after the kids have gone to bed since parts of it were too gruesome even for me. If you're renting them I advise starting from the beginning or you can miss a lot of what's going on.

As for films I haven't seen anything that didn't make me cringe lately so I can't help with that one.

I am completely ADDICTED to The Office! Hopefully they show that where you are, because it's awesome. :) I used to be a Scrubs fanatic as well, so I suggest either of those series.

O.C and Scrubs at the mo, have all seasons for O.C on DVD box-set and up to season 7 on DVD for Scrubs (imported) Also starting to love Everybody loves Raymond... But you should defo get in to O.C and Scrubs, you just do...

    Turk: How you doin'?
J.D.: Not too bad, considering there was just a bomb dropped on me.
Turk: This thing was bigger than a bomb. It's more like an asteroid about to hit the planet. You know, people running in the middle of the streets like, "Oh my God, it's coming right at us!". Then dudes turn to hot chick and are like, "Look, we 'bout to die, so could I hit that?" And the girl's like "Hell to the no!". But then realizes, "Oh my God, I'm about to die. So you know what, yes you can hit this, but no kissing."
    J.D.: That's exactly what it's like.
[J.D. is handed his beer with a pineapple wedge.]
J.D.: [to bartender] Thank you. [back to Turk] I'm just so mad I don't know what to say to her. [Old MC leans in] Don't you dare! [Old MC shrugs and walks away] Part of me wants to talk to her, part of me wants to—
    Old MC: Bust a move!
J.D.: You have a problem sir! Seek help!

pushing daisies! its like a weird dr suess with death for adults? i don't know how to describe it at all. i don't think its showing over seas yet, but maybe you can find it online. its really creative and fanastic. i just dont' have words to say how much i love it :)

Scrubs and the office are great too. I have this super weird obession with Degrassi, but if Kevin Smith is obessed too, then I don't feel so nuts! lol.

for newer movies, I really liked The Prestige - it has the new batman in it, and the same director for batman begins and the dark knight - which was actually delayed in production because of this movie. theres a few other things but i can't think fantasticly well at the moment.
