I was super sick of my SFX Deep Purple hair. It lasted for three months without even fading, and I was getting tired of it, because I had wanted blue in the first place.

Well... I bleached my hair with a 40 volume developer and bleach kit, again. It stays in wonderful condition for all the crap I do to it. And, well... the part that was purple now has the exact hue as freshly dyed Atomic Pink.

This is sooooo not what I was going for. I wanted to prep it to put in another color, but now a majority of my hair is pink.

Please, please help me. I'm kinda freaking out a little. I wanted to go blue, but I'm really afraid if I do it as is it'll turn purple again, which is about the last thing I want. I got tired of the purple, darnit!

I know there are ways I could cover this up, such as going darker, or going with red, but it's not really what I want to do this time around. If I have any other options that would still have me end up with blue that I can get done today or the next day, that would be absolutely awesome. Please, please help me....

Red would work to cover, so would a dark brown. A Almost black blue would cover it I'd imagine, it might get a purple tinge, but it should be more blue than purple. You could let it fade to a lighter color, thats then atleast in more of a blue-toned family, and get a brighter shade a of blue going.

I would try washing your hair with dishsoap maybe, to get it to fade....

or, I was told, put a cheap shampoo in your hair, and leave it in for like 30 minutes, and that should also help it to fade....

and then just deep condition like crazy because dish soap (and cheap shampoo) will probably dry the crap out of your hair...

Well, I tried another color stripped, and that helped a little, but barely enough to tell. I ended up painting on SFX Sonic Green over the purple parts. It turned it blue, with a few purple patches, maybe a few greenish patches. The roots were all dyed fishbowl. I used my color theory knowledge to get me out of that mess. Honestly, I think it looks amazing. I'm really, really freakin' releived it came out as well as it did.

That happened me once with Deep Purple. Mine was quite faded so the pink colour was more pastel. It washed out fairly quickly.
I've found washing my hair in the bath really drains the colour and even more so if there are bath salts in the water. I've had that remove 2 shades before. Perhaps you could try soaking your hair in warm water and bath salts?
If you can get it to baby pink you can go ahead and dye over with a strong turquoise shade. Turquoise + a small amount of pink = Blue (the green in the turquoise cancels out the pinkness in the hair). However don't try dyeing it green or you'll end up with an ugly colour.
