    Ive been missing for ages, turns out working in live music actually eats up 99% of your free time! This makes be glad I have dreads, as theyre very much becoming a "leave alone and they look better" hairstyle.

    They get better every time I wash them (once every 5 days with my lovely knotty boy soap from haircrazy.com)

    So heres a mini timeline:-

    I dreaded the front of my hair, I hated having it loose, I wasnted dreads everywhere! (August 07)

    2 weeks later and the fluff has died down. Dreads are just 2 months here. (late Aug 07)

    2 Months, probably the best theyve looked, very un loopy.

    Then at 3 months, I got loops. loops are formed by the dreads shrinking as they get tighter, and eventually get absorbed into the dread again, it just means for a few months ill look a bit like a troll.

    the back - they have actually grown a lot, so shrinking nothers me less now!

    And now, at nearly 4 months:-

    And finally an srtsy one from the day before my birthday;

    I love my dreads, they're so much more fun than my normal hair. My hair actually has volume these days rather than looking flat and lifeless. My natural colour looks great dreaded too.

    I've got no regrets about doing them, and cant wait till they're fat and chunky and i can hurt people with them when I headbang!

    They're looking great. Seems they're tightening up nicely.
    Can't wait for your dreading how-to!

    Thanks, yeah Im a bit of a vanisher, but as term is coming to a close (so therefore less live music) my job gets easier

    Green eyemakeup is a *must* if you happen to have green eyes, people actually say "oh - you have green eyes" that way

    Your dreads are looking amazing for their age, I've had mine for 6 months now, glad your bumps and loops are getting "reabsorbed", I was getting worried about mine
