Title says it all really.
Im in need of some good advice/suggestions as to what to do with my hair, in terms of colour.

Basically its rather processed, but not totally fried - yet. My hair was previously dyed black for about 10 months (im naturally blonde), but then got bored and wanted something completely different, for example a nice bright purple or red ect.

I read here that its best to use a colour stripper first, which i did, but it didnt lift much of the black out sadly. I then bleached my hair using a 30vol about 3 times over a few days.. and the black did lift slightly to a redish colour. However it was getting a bit dry and damaged so i decided to not bleach anymore.

So, now im stuck with hair i dont like and i have no idea what to do next.
Im open to any suggestions, as long as it doesnt involve cutting my hair really short. I just want to completely change the colour =)

Using a bright red should give it a reddish tint and you could probably try a really dark purple though the result might look more like purplish black.

Another thing I thought you could try would be bleaching in some streaks which you can gradually make thicker as the natural hair grows in.

Option 3 is bleaching the ends of your hair and if you fry it you can cut it off.
