I've dyed my hair several times before and decided to go pink this time. I bought some RAW Candy Pink from Hot Topic and was disapointed after leaving it in for 30 minutes only to wash it out... all of it. My hair is as blonde and plain as it was before. I'm used to using Special Effects, but I didn't think this would be too far off. I don't understand why it didn't work. Help?

That's just RAW for you. It is, if you'll pardon my language, complete crap. Especially Candy Pink. I don't think I've ever heard of it actually working well at all, much less being comparable to Special Effects. It's nothing you did at all; it's just the dye. Special Effects Cupcake Pink would probably be the closest to what Candy Pink is theoretically supposed to look like, if you want to give that a try.

I agree with the above post, I've heard stories about that dye not being very good as well.
So you're better off using something like SFX Cupcake Pink.
If that's too dark you can always dilute it with some conditioner.
I also want to add that before you apply the dye you should wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo.
Cheap shampoo works okay too, just use something that will strip the oils out so the dye will stick better.
It helps the dye fade less quickly, especially lighter shades.
