Hey everyone,
If you've had problems adding your photos to the timeline or you have broken images in your timeline (e.g. you click on the image and it doesn't load in in the normal way) then you should now be able to upload images without problems.

All broken images will be set to today's date so please check your timeline for incorrect dates.

If you missed my announcement a couple of days ago, the problem related to the date taken part of adding a photo. If the date wasn't added in the format yyyy-mm-dd plus the time it was failing. I have no idea how I missed that in the testing stage but there you have it - no one's perfect. So basically problems arose for almost everyone whose images didn't have EXIF data which would fill in the date automatically.

This has been remedied with a nice calendar that you can use to choose the date.

If you have any further problems let me know and my apologies to anyone whose photos have had to be modified.

What type of file are you uploading?
What size is it?
What browser (and version) are you using?
Do you get an error message?
How does it fail?

Additional info will help me sort this out

Doesn't work for me either. The file is a jpg and 1.57MB. I get an error message saying something went wrong when I click submit.

Don't know about the browser, its my work pc so its very up to date version i think.

1.57MB might be too big. In theory it should work but our web hosts tend to kill processes where there's a lot of memory used.
Try making it smaller, under 1MB should be fine. Also use the calender to add the date if it isn't already filled in.
I'm aware of one problem still relating to uploading photos and will be working over the weekend to get it fixed. Until then try using smaller files and make sure each field in the form is filled in.
