Anyone done anything drastic with their haircut recently?
I'm bored with my style now I've spent 2 years getting it long again so if anyone has had the guts to do something completely different I'd love to hear about it.

well i've had mine dyed black for nearly 2 years now and back then it was less than 5cm long. now its past my shoulders and i'm soon stripping or bleaching it back to blonde. will be a drastic change for me

I had my hair past my shoulders and over winter break got it cut up to my chin. Not the most drastic thing I've done, but it was a good five or so inches. I'm also planning on dying it pink once it's recovered a bit from being orange. And probably getting it cut again, as I didn't quite get the look I was going for (probably because the average age of clientel at the hair salon that I typically go to is over 70 so the hairdressers aren't exactly adventurous... haha).

At the end of summer - probably August - I hair was around bra-strap length, I just it off into an a-line. Aprox 9 inches in the back and probably 6 in the front. It hadn't been shorter than my collar bone since i was about 9.. so that was about 12 years of long hair. I got sick of it though so I'm growing it back out. Can't stand not being able to put my hair into a good pony tail. Course I never got around to taking good pics of it before I decided to grow it.

I have ideas for my hair but I just wish I could be sure I would like it. My plans involve some permanent colour and most likely a hair cut but currently I'm too chicken... I mean I'm researching hair styles

Your timeline's all blue, you could try some warmer dyes? :)
Or a fringe :D

I've dyed the top black since this post so I'll be changing the colour underneath to something warmer when the blue washes out. Could definitely do with a new cut though. May try a long fringe.
